Como cristianos, sabemos que Jesús nos envió al mundo para hacer discípulos (Mt 28:18-20); sin embargo, a veces pensamos que esa tarea corresponde únicamente a ciertos miembros de la iglesia, como pastores, evangelistas o misioneros. Él dijo que somos sal y luz en este mundo (Mt 5:13-16). ¿Qué significa esto? Quizás te sorprenda saber que Jesús se dirigía a todos sus discípulos cuando afirmó que, así como el Padre lo había enviado a nosotros, Él nos enviaba a todos nosotros al mundo. En esta serie, veremos por qué Jesús nos llamó sal y luz (Mateo 5) y cómo tiene planes poderosos para nuestras vidas. No se trata de predicar a gritos en una esquina, sino de encontrar la manera de ser sal y luz para quienes nos rodean.

Ya hemos visto en Parte 1 que como Cristo fue enviado al mundo (nosotros) nosotros asi mismo hemos sido enviados al mundo (los que no han recibido a El todavia). En Parte 2 vimos que nuestro motivo debe ser el Amor de Dios y nada mas. En Parte 3 vimos que cada uno tenemos una histora - un testimonio - que es el arma mas poderosa para lanzar los corazones de ellos. Y ahor en Parte 4, vemos que la perseverancia es vital, numca quitando los ojos del proposito de ganar al mundo para Cristo. Nada mas importa al final. Todos tenemos responsabilidades en la vida, pero Dios y salvacion en Cristo tiene que estar al centro de nuestro proposito. Vamanos!

As Christians, we know that Jesus sent us into the world to make disciples (Matt. 28:18-20); yet, we sometimes think this task belongs only to certain church members, such as pastors, evangelists, or missionaries. He said we are salt and light in this world (Matt. 5:13-16). What does this mean? You might be surprised to learn that Jesus was addressing all His disciples when He stated that, just as the Father had sent Him to us, He was sending all of us into the world. In this series, we will explore why Jesus called us salt and light (Matthew 5) and how He has powerful plans for our lives. It is not about shouting sermons on a street corner, but rather finding ways to be salt and light to those around us.

We have already seen in Part 1 that, just as Christ was sent into the world, we too have been sent into the world (to those who have not yet received Him). In Part 2, we saw that our motive must be the love of God—and nothing else. In Part 3, we saw that each of us has a story—a testimony—which is the most powerful weapon for reaching people's hearts. And now, in Part 4, we see that perseverance is vital; we must never take our eyes off the goal of winning the world for Christ. Nothing else matters in the end. We all have responsibilities in life, but God and salvation in Christ must be at the center of our purpose. Let’s go!
